DigiArte File License
Last updated: September 2026
Every design file bought on DigiArte comes with this license, unless the product page or a written custom-work agreement says otherwise. The creator keeps the copyright; you buy the right to use the file as described here.
At a glance
| You may | You may not |
|---|---|
| Cut, carve, engrave, print or stitch the design as many times as you like | Share, upload, sell, give away or trade the digital file, even for free |
| Sell the physical products you make, in any quantity | Include the file in a bundle, library, template pack or subscription |
| Resize, recolour or adjust the file for your machine and material | Sell a slightly edited version of the file as your own design |
| Use product photos of the items you made for your shop and marketing | Use the file or its previews to train AI models or in NFTs |
| Keep backups for your own use | Claim the design as your own or register it as a trademark |
1. Grant
When you pay for a file, the creator grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use it to produce physical items for personal or commercial purposes, as described in this document.
2. Physical products
You may make and sell physical products made from the file (for example signs, furniture, jewellery, printed models, embroidered clothing or engraved gifts) without limits on quantity. Digital mock-ups and product photos of those items may be used to market them.
3. The digital file
The file is for use by you or the business you purchased it for. You may give it to a production partner (for example a CNC shop or print service) only to make items for you, and they may not keep or reuse it. Any other distribution of the file, or of a file derived from it, is not allowed.
4. Teams and businesses
A purchase made by a business covers the machines and staff at that business. Buying once and sharing the file with other businesses, franchises or customers is not allowed.
5. Custom work
Files delivered through a custom request follow this license by default. If you and the creator agree on exclusive rights or a full copyright transfer, record that agreement in the request conversation before the escrow is released.
6. Trademarks and third-party content
Creators must only sell designs they own or are licensed to sell. This license does not grant rights to trademarks, logos or characters that appear in a design. If you believe a listing infringes your rights, see Copyright & DMCA.
7. Ending the license
If you break these terms, the license ends automatically and you must delete the file. Products you already made and sold in line with this license are not affected. A purchase that is refunded ends the license for that file.
8. No warranty
Files are provided as described on the product page. If a file is corrupt or does not match its description, you can ask for a refund under the Refund Policy.
